中海船务代理有限公司是经交通部批准、工商行政管理总局登记注册、由中国海运（集团）总公司、大连海运（集团）公司、上海海运（集团）公司、广州海运（集团）公司以及中海劳务合作有限公司共同出资组建的国际船舶代理公司，公司注册资本1亿5千万元，是跨地区经营的、以船舶代理为主业同时面向第三方物流的投资管理公司。 公司成立于1997年10月28日，总部设在上海，在国内沿海、长江沿岸、珠江三角洲地区的35个口岸设有37家兼营内、外贸船代业务的国际船舶代理公司，另在五个口岸设有内贸船货代公司，建立了全国性的船舶代理网络，从事航行国内、国际航线和港澳台地区中、外籍船舶在中国港口、海域、内河及其他有关地方的船舶代理和客、货运代理业务。
